The 2008 Building and Construction Tabletop is where all
building industry leaders need to be for local and
international business opportunities. General contractors,
sub-contractors, suppliers and affiliated businesses will have
the opportunity, to meet other building industry leaders,
Tuesday April 8th, 5:30-7:30pm at Pelican
Preserve. They will also have the opportunity to engage in
international business opportunities presented by top building
industry leaders from Russia.

Andrew Somers, President of The American Chamber of Commerce
in Russia says, “Russia is an engine of growth for American
Companies.” The American Chamber of Commerce in Russia
recently released an article American Business in Russia,
which tells that half of American companies surveyed
reported sales increases of 200% in Russia from 2001 to 2005.
It was also reported that ninety seven percent of U.S.
companies in Russia project continued growth in sales during
the next three years. The article goes on to explain that the
reason for American companies’ success in Russia is that they
are helping to bridge the “values gap” between Russia and the
United States by adhering to American business values and
promoting these values among their Russian employees. The
Christian Chamber of Southwest Florida is helping local
building industry leaders “bridge the gap” in this
international business opportunity.
Our keynote speakers will
be presenting an overview of Russian business in general along
with a focus on Real Estate and development. Just two weeks
ago, one of our speakers, Victor Kovalov, General Director of
one of Russia’s largest metal factories was given the highest
medal of recognition personally by President Putin for
business development in Russia. He is also elected to the
House State of Representatives. Andrei Kuzin, general
director The Orphei Company since 1996 is currently developing
real estate projects and is elected to City Council.
Alexander Illushkin is the Commercial Director at The Orphei
Company since 1996. He currently is developing real estate
projects and in his evenings Alexander is finishing a Bible
College degree. John McIntosh, partner in the Orphei Company,
has lived, ministered and worked full time in Russia for 14
years. John has set up a lumber business in Russia and serves
as a team member with Athletes in Action in Russia for summer
mission’s events.
This is your opportunity to expand your business locally and
internationally. Tabletops are limited, and will be reserved
on a first come first serve basis. This unique event takes
place on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the
Pelican Preserve Country Club located at 10561 Veneto Dr. in
Ft. Myers. Members of the Christian Chamber of SW Florida can
reserve a tabletop booth for only $150.00 (Includes 2 General
Admission Tickets); non-members can participate for only
$450.00 (Includes 2 General Admission Tickets). All
businesses must register by Thursday, April 3rd to
reserve their tabletop. Hors d’oeuvres and non-alcoholic
beverages will be available for table sponsors only. General
admission to attend the event is only $5.00 and RSVP is
required.
